Some of the worst words a person can hear are: ‘You have cancer’.
I was not ready to hear those words after losing my mom just three months before my diagnosis.
I was only 31.
The Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley helped me in ways I didn’t even know were possible.
The options and programs they offer are endless. Just to name a few: individual counseling, support groups, crafting classes, makeovers, healthy lifestyle programs, free wigs, and SO much more.
This incredible organization will ALWAYS have my support, but especially during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Please help me reach my goal so I can help others feel less terrified when they hear those awful words.
