    American Cancer Society presents this free workshop facilitated by trained cosmetologists who teach women with cancer how to understand and care for changes in skin and hair that may occur during treatment.  Participants receive a free make-up kit. CSC-GLV hosts this workshop monthly. Call 1-800-227-2345 to register. 

  • Enjoying Nature’s Gifts

    Enjoying Nature’s Gifts will be held quarterly to offer special programs for each season. Create culinary herb blends to enhance your beverages, salads, entrees, and desserts.
  • Frankly Speaking About Cancer series

    These educational workshops cover topics such as specific cancer diagnosis, side effects, and navigating the system during and after treatment to help attendees become better consumers in their care.

  • Healthy Cooking

    A nutritious diet and wellness go hand in hand.  This class emphasizes quick and healthful snacks, refreshing soups and salads, balanced with satisfying entrees.  Together we will combine fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables with wholesome grains and legumes which will result in a hearty meal that is low in saturated fat and cholesterol.  We will learn, have fun and share a meal together.  This program is presented by Janice Kay of Janice Kay Green Cuisine and Gale Maleskey, RD. Offered monthly at the Northampton Community College Fowler Family Southside Campus.
