Make it snow at the Cancer Support Community!
Join in the 2017 Snowflake Challenge, and help raise needed funds for the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley, a nonprofit organization providing free programs to anyone impacted by cancer.
We’re asking businesses, student groups, Greek chapters, councils, and other organizations to raise $1,000 per club by March 15, 2017. Our goal is to collectively raise $50,000 for the Cancer Support Community. Those meeting the $1,000 challenge will have their group’s name added to the recognition wall in the activity room at our center, and thanked on social media and our website.
How can your group achieve the $1,000 mark? Invite friends, family members, co-workers, teachers, neighbors, and fellow students to support your efforts. Design paper snowflakes and ask people to sponsor them at $10 each. Contact us if you would like paper snowflakes supplied for your team. At the end of the campaign, we’ll collect and scatter the snowflakes at our center – making it snow at the Cancer Support Community! Your efforts will help to improve the lives of people with cancer and their loved ones.
If that snowball keeps rolling, don’t stop at $1,000! One weekly program costs us $3,000 to $5,000 each for the year, and monthly programs cost up to $3,000 each for the year. We offer 60 various programs every month, and operate entirely on contributions from individuals, private and corporate foundations, and proceeds from special events and projects like the Snowflake Challenge. Every donation matters!
On behalf of the individuals and families we are privileged to serve, many thanks for your participation. The community’s support makes a difference in all that we do, so that no one faces cancer alone.
